Eryn Robertson grew up in the Canadian small town of Gibsons, BC and began singing/writing at the age of 16. Hailing from a family of creatives, her great aunt was a singer at the Metropolitan Opera, grandmother an actress & singer, mother a painter and father was a rock reporter with a film degree who ran recording studios. At the age of 15, Eryn's parents moved her to California where she was homeschooled for one year. Finding herself rather isolated in a new place, she came across her parents old records from the 70's (Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac) and fell in love the art of music. She taught herself to play guitar, began songwriting and performing in her small town at Sunshine Coast festivals/events where she was awarded "Best Contemporary Vocal" and "Best Composition". She further honed her craft by attending The Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, CA and recording with rock legend Brian Dobbs. She finished her debut EP at EchoPlant Sound in Vancouver in Fall 2016 and created an independent music video that gained her press and radio features across BC. Her voice has been described as soulful and her music honest.
